Anthony Freeman is a second year doctoral candidate in the Social Welfare program at the Graduate Center, CUNY/Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. His primary research interest lies in identity issues concerning Black and Latina/o lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities.  Anthony also serves on the New York State Taskforce on Black Gay Men’s Health and the New York City HIV Prevention Planning Group (NYC HPG). He received a master’s degree in the Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State University (SFSU) and bachelor’s degree from Hunter College with a double major/BA in Psychology and Media.
